To protect a Grade I listed historical church building built in 1093.
Parts of the interior like the 1657 Jacobean pulpit and book rest,
the church organ, the lead on roof, etc. had to be protected from theft
whilst the church needed to be opened for the public.
There had already been an attempted theft of one of the carvings
from the pulpit and the red carpet from the aisle had been stolen.

the solution

Technica Systems worked alongside the security committee of the Parochial Church Council to design a system that would protect the lead on the roof and also the historic valuables by setting up a very involved intruder alarm system with numerous and complex settings, resulting in no more thefts.
